Spooglid sucks though because it isn't compatible with Pluple. you can't use it with Moomity, unless you proxy it with Qimpit, but that introduces a dependency on Pumpernickel, and nobody wants that headache. I'm gonna stick with Shiggy, at least until Binkly adds support for Skvbgldr

In Albany, there is a remarkable place called the Empire State Plaza. It is an enormous white marble elephant, a colossal vanity project by former governor Rockefeller.

container from China arrives in LA. world's best freight rail network (existing) carries it to Selkirk. it's then taken to Hudson Freight Yard. new high line above 34th St carries it on autonomous electric trams from there directly into department stores like the Target and Macy's at 34th & 6th

there's a surface parking lot at the north end of the high line, right where it ducks underground to meet the empire connection. is it enough to build a yard to pull containers off trains from Selkirk and onto electric runabouts for local delivery?

it probably didn't make sense to keep the High Line open for the quantity of freight it got. it probably is better as a park. but part of me will always wonder what modern Manhattan freight rail might look like today
