Colossal confirmed to me that they had some journalists sign NDAs.

The result is some compelling reporting—but without significant pushback from outside scientists. It's one thing for a journalist to ask 'well, are these really dire wolves?' and for an expert to assert 'THESE ARE NOT DIRE WOLVES'

There are 43 CRUs across the US. Their mission is to conduct research, train & educate graduate students, & provide technical assist. to cooperators (like state F&W agencies). They’ve already lost scientists to initial layoffs. Their complete loss would be devastating to conservation & education.

USFWS releases findings on grizzly bear delisting petitions - all 3 (MT, WY, ID) DENIED.
FWS proposes single DPS (map in link) where bears will remain listed as threatened; bears outside of proposed DPS in lower-48 would be not considered threatened.

🚨The USFWS needs your help! 🚨When the father of the Copper Creek wolf pack was captured in Colorado in August, officials noticed he had a gunshot wound.
