College student trying to draw. I'm drawing a comic that will never see the light of day
But time passes, the fear that there lacks proof races. Scratch it. Your nails deep within the skin. Red flows, there it is again, you.

Pain
And as the sting on your leg fades away, the sign left is proof enough. A name to your hurt. One you can touch and wince to.
The pain dressed as a scar, crimson and tough; you look for it to be comforted, caressing the uneven surface to know it's real.

Feeling like a deer, unable to hunt, as if it was hunting and not meeting in the middle. The deer is afraid of wandering all the way and discovering it's alone.

But as you now see, the reflection on the ice, melting away as you stand still. The image distorted, not able to see behind you anymore; forward there's a puddle that you're too scared to cross. What if it's six feet deep, you ask. But you will never know, still.

Drenched you're held down. It condensed and crystallized and built a cage around you, no room to move.

And there you lay. Nothing to say, nothing to add to the pile of memories. Time never stops, and if it did, it would look like this. No change bestowed upon us, still under the ticking rain.

Alt text: Third panel: the two are holding hands, by the little finger. The cat (whose point of view was seen in the previous panel) is standing behind the hands. The panel is actually on the left and an arrow is connecting it to the place it should be, on the right

Alt text: sketch on paper of an illustration/comic splash page. First panel: mannequin of a person reading
Second panel (biggest): view from above of the previous person putting down the book, while raising the blanket for the other person. The other person is getting into bed.

I tried to put some sense into things (I made the girl on the left [yes they don't have names] be more serious as she reads and buttons her pajamas all the way up, she also always feels cold because she keeps the blanket all the way down, while the girl on the right can't stand the heat)

Idk if anyone will ever be interested in prints of the polaroids, I'll probably post the originals after I've finished them

Wanted to share a study I did on one of the screenshots, because I wanted to go deeper in the rendering - the polaroids are small bc they're polaroids duh -, thus I did a digital illustration

What polaroids? As I said I'm not a fan of anything, but I always listen to my friend's recommendations. So I watched - twice - Good Omens (I absolutely despise the author for reasons known). I took screenshots of some scenes from every episode, and now I'm coloring them with alcohol markers.
