College student trying to draw. I'm drawing a comic that will never see the light of day
But time passes, the fear that there lacks proof races. Scratch it. Your nails deep within the skin. Red flows, there it is again, you.

Nostalgia
Nostalgia of what you could have, have not had, will never have. The phantom of a mirrored image, lasting in your mind, pressed against your skin. You would like your want back, but your light is dim, your heart flatters too faintly, and deep down, a coward shields itself from the chase.

I'm back

Watched kpop demon hunters today and then drew fanart right after. Really liked the animation style.

hiii
yesterday the lesson at my comic school was about inking! So I did the first one as part of the lesson and the second one just now. I kind of like how they've turned out!

Finished!

I forgot to add this sketch on paper. I started from paper because "perspective" - in quotes bc I don't actually know much about it and it would feel like an insult to call it perspective - comes easier (probably because I can draw smaller, while on CSP I tend to fill the page)

I tried to put some sense into things (I made the girl on the left [yes they don't have names] be more serious as she reads and buttons her pajamas all the way up, she also always feels cold because she keeps the blanket all the way down, while the girl on the right can't stand the heat)

Wanted to share a study I did on one of the screenshots, because I wanted to go deeper in the rendering - the polaroids are small bc they're polaroids duh -, thus I did a digital illustration

As I said I can copy. Idek if I'll ever get commissioned but I did this for my sister once upon a time

But most importantly. Some weeks ago I was on call with my best friend, and as usual I was deregatorily noticing that their cat as a toothpicky tail. What came after was a genius idea: what if, hear me out, a cat's tail was its sword. Yes, genius.
(I copied the background but idk who to tag)

I post only on bulk
I wonder if I should post about last year's project, which was also a comic, or if there was anyway I could use it more meaningfully in the future. I have no idea.
What you get instead is an old illustration that has no backstory whatsoever, as usual

I'm plenty capable of copying. Maybe only capable of copying. Who knows 🦉👃...
I think there was I time where I dared more. I was less scared of trying. Now I do try, but I fail. Anyway, here's an old OC without any meaningful backstory

I guess it's weird how I only read GL but have always had a urge to create horror stories, even though I always add some queer romance...

This isn't what I wanted to say but you get what you give. This is the hypothetical cover of the comic I was conceptualizing some years ago!

Something more recent!

Okay, I'll admit it... I'm guilty of colour picking while doing studies!

It's just... I start drawing without using the eyedropper, and then, all of a sudden, my hand slips on it... No, actually, I just find my colours all over the place.

Here's some studies

Sometimes - never - I reminisce about the way I was before. I actually enjoyed things. Anyway, some years ago I had an online friend - later discovered they were transphobic - and we used to play Identity V - that game made me genuinely scared. Here's a fanart

from an author which inspired him. The author is Raymong Carver, and the poem, "September".

I first drew it digitally (2nd photo), and then (3rd photo) with gouache, alcohol markers and (not seen in the photo, because it was a WIP, the finished one I don't have with me rn) coloured pens.

If it wasn't clear, it's the fable of The Tortoise and the Hare by Aesop
