yesterday the lesson at my comic school was about inking! So I did the first one as part of the lesson and the second one just now. I kind of like how they've turned out!

I forgot to add this sketch on paper. I started from paper because "perspective" - in quotes bc I don't actually know much about it and it would feel like an insult to call it perspective - comes easier (probably because I can draw smaller, while on CSP I tend to fill the page)

Today I skipped a Chinese philology lesson just because. I tried contact lenses for the first time and I had a hard time putting them on. The rest of the they I spent coloring the polaroid I drew.

But most importantly. Some weeks ago I was on call with my best friend, and as usual I was deregatorily noticing that their cat as a toothpicky tail. What came after was a genius idea: what if, hear me out, a cat's tail was its sword. Yes, genius.

I've always yearned for creation until I've crushed into the reality that you have to create it, and it's a never ending process. I remember I had started writing my first story in elementary school, but I quickly realized I can only copy 😅

Okay, I'll admit it... I'm guilty of colour picking while doing studies!
It's just... I start drawing without using the eyedropper, and then, all of a sudden, my hand slips on it... No, actually, I just find my colours all over the place.

I've been taking a comic course for the second year now and we had a project for a book presentation. The book being a collection of poems, we had to represent through a comic page a poem, though we couldn't draw the author's poems because the book was yet to be published, so we chose a poem (1/2)

Btw I'm a university student, and am studying Chinese! There was an assignment where we had to do a presentation, but I got the topic wrong (even though the professor didn't correct me, so I almost presented the wrong thing 😨).

Last year I started learning obsidian and I've come to like the blackboard option. I use it to make moodboard by importing references from pinterest and then I decide on the blackboard what to use for what. These are some examples of pieces I've made with this method!
