I have continued to use Facebook in the past few years because of the utility of its group function for neighborhoods and exchanges. How long will this function remain intact, especially now that they are not doing much moderating?

It can be easy to feel like you are doing something wrong in the men’s room, but I think the norms are set up so *everyone* feels that way.

Sometimes I worry that men will ask me why I am using a stall, because women tried to talk to me in there in the women’s room! But that has never happened.

I think my frustration is at clinicians who do this. There has to be the nuance to incorporate people with chronic pain !

But this is a zero sum view of trans issues, as though we need to compete with each other for turns to be seen.

What would be much more helpful is for cis allies to develop more mature ways of naming different forms of trans hate and recognizing when they occur.

I’m not sure if my confusion at their choice of such a tall celebrity is a reflection of the extent to which transmascs are erased from these discussions or just how absurd these smear campaigns are
