I can’t get over how Barbie succeeded because it offered tangible ways for women and girls to celebrate each other (and dress up and go to the movies together) but studios thought it worked because it’s about toys so now they’re making like Bananagrams the movie

John is talking about the largest TB outbreak in U.S. history, currently happening in my home state.

Health policy anywhere makes a difference everywhere.

(Also - cannot wait to read John’s book on TB, coming out soon.)
This is 67 cases--a tiny fraction of TB's global burden, which exceeds 10,000,000 active cases per year.

But the longer we allow a curable illness to infect and kill millions, the more TB we'll see in the U.S. Tuberculosis is an airborne disease, and TB anywhere is a threat to humans everywhere.
