This may explain why there’s an aggressive response to people who merely post Kirk’s own words. It threatens the existence of the alternate Kirk - the motivational speaker that had been marketed to young kids and white Christian groups through selective quotation & clips.

I’m listening to this mess of a hearing and finding it interesting how 1) it’s not clear exactly what “chronic diseases” are being referred to 2) modern medicine does a lot to keep people who do have “chronic disease” alive. pca.st/episode/62a8...

this is a big freakin deal in LA, the city where fireworks go on all night during 4th of July. People love their fireworks here, even if they are illegal.
