It’s so funny seeing MAGA people panic upon seeing the added security measures for the inauguration. “Are the Dems planning something? I hope nothing bad happens!” Like what, a violent coup? Wonder who set that precedent and why they’d be so worried about securing the capitol building.

No matter what happened with these elections, I’m glad that at least my name will never be associated with a fascist dictator. I have never supported him in anyway and that gives me so much peace of mind.

AI will never be able to replace human effort when it comes to creativity. We don’t just celebrate beautifully made movies, books, pieces of art, songs, video games, because of the end result. I think intrinsically, we marvel mostly at human capability.

I’ve inadvertently Pavloved myself. I got one of those automatic scent sprayers and it kept spooking my cat. I respond to this by making my lil kissy noises at her/reaching out to pet her. But now anytime it sprays I catch myself doing this automatically. Even when she’s in the next room.
