I took it upon myself to host a Labyrinth viewing party for my 6th grader and his friends last year. None of them had seen it! I was aghast. We haven’t done Dark Crystal yet, mostly because the Skeksis scared me so bad when I was a kid.

I just ignore the existence of the film, and am happier for it. I’m currently re-reading the series via reading it to my son, which is great fun.
