Every time I read about banning books, I think of this:
Reading a book with a gay character will not make you gay any more than reading a book about Einstein will make you a genius.

I find it a lot easier to follow real-time reporting of breaking news on Bluesky than on Twitter. My feed is much cleaner on Bluesky — in contrast, my Twitter feed is chock full of hateful trolling and annoying ads.

Animals are truly better than people. Most animals (excluding killer whales and dolphins) dont hurt other animals for entertainment or just because. Most animals also dont hurt baby animals on purpose. Humans do hurt other species on purpose and for entertainment

Why would MAGA supporters come to BlueSky? The have X, Truth Social, Parler and GAB to be cranky on. They live to argue, or maybe these new acts are pd propagandists. Check their followers/posts before engaging. Starve them of the negative attention they strive to get.

I 💙 BlueSky. I can ask a question, or comment and get real, normal people to respond, with real, normal responses. It’s not a scream into the void or a reply by a BOT or someone angry at their life looking for negative engagement.

I just emailed a nonprofit and had to complete a simple RECAPTCHA, to reduce spam to their business. I wish I could do that with my personal email…anyone know if that’s possible? Entering the holidays, I’m going to get inundated with emails. Uggg
