Watch me.

Getting to the end of a 24 hr magnesium IV treatment and I do not recommend.
This was a truly horrid experience.

Night shift nurses here are the best. I’m writing a ballad to Nurse Amy who took out my old IV port. She got me fresh sheets and got a blanket for my husband. I love people who show love to my people!!

Why are some nurses needlessly mean? Some are so kind and understanding and others are just… unnecessarily mean.

I haven’t eaten in 12 hours because my c-section (which was scheduled for 5:30 AM) keeps getting pushed back.

I’m gonna start biting people.

So grateful to my Endo office for giving me some backup TruSteel needles since the ones I ordered are now on back order and I’m going into the hospital soon to have a baby so I can’t babysit my stupid needle shipment right now.

I’m so hugely pregnant that my clothes are so tight that they keep constricting my insulin tubing and giving occlusion alarms.
It’s driving me crazy!!!!

Maybe having my OB/GYN make me see a midwife when I know I’m having a c-section was a bad idea?

She didn’t even listen to me. It was a waste of my time and her time.

I’m now at the point of pregnancy where at every tightening, I wonder “Is it starting? Will my baby finally come?”

Today is #WorldDiabetesDay and November is National Diabetes Awareness Month. As a doctor and someone with type-1 diabetes, I’m proud to support the research, treatment, and prevention of #T1D while raising awareness for those also living with the disease.

Any Bluey episode with Rusty in it is so good in my opinion. He’s such a great character.

Ugh! I haven’t had my insulin pump location on my leg for days and yet I still get phantom pain in my leg when I hear the clicking of the insulin.

Pregnancy nightmares are awful.
I keep dreaming about terrible things happening to my children and then I wake up and have to tell myself “No, everyone is okay. No one is in danger. It’s all okay.”

But for a second, it all still feels real…

I’ve been so crazy about crochet lately. My brain can’t focus on reading right now so I’ve just been going nutty making scarves and hats and now, gloves.

Don’t send help. Send more yarn.

I wish there was a way to wrap my heated blanket around me and go about my day with it.
I’m nearing the end of this pregnancy and I’m so big that my body is struggling to hold up all this weight.

While most of America is dreading November coming, I’m anxiously awaiting for a different reason:

My baby is due to be born!

I’m sorry he has to be born into this mess, but I believe he’s going to bring so much joy to this uncertain world. ❤️

Okay, this is some lovely news.
This is what the government should be for: taking care of their citizens.
