Ok, picked up a bottle of Plymouth Sloe Gin (a big upgrade over my previous bottle), and we’re on! Surprisingly light cocktail. Bright and refreshing, though almost neutral in flavor. Might do an absinthe spray wash in the glass next time to try and get more anise character.

Ok, picked up a bottle of Plymouth Sloe Gin (a big upgrade over my previous bottle), and we’re on! Surprisingly light cocktail. Bright and refreshing, though almost neutral in flavor. Might do an absinthe spray wash in the glass next time to try and get more anise character.
It took 6 months of processing grief, but we were finally ready last week to bring a new dog into our lives. Meet Huckleberry: 130lbs of pure love!
