Our foster bunny, Nyx, is officially posted for adoption! She followed a kind man who was hiking in a state park after being dumped by her former family. We’ve been fostering her through Alabama Rabbit Rescue. Nyx has been spayed and is in perfect health! 🖤 www.petfinder.com/rabbit/nyx-7...

When it seems like the monsters are winning,
give a thought to the bigger picture.

Nature is coming for them.
Time is eating them.
History will give them what they've earned.

I'm auditing a class this semester - Zoology and Art. Learning to draw is an interesting process. Bird nests and insects are not easy subjects...

Art journaling is quite therapeutic, though. We should all do more of this.

Nyx will be up for adoption soon! She sure does love her daily bunny salad, but I have learned that collard greens are not among her favorite. #fosterbunny #minihollandlop

I’m writing something about what government around the world should do about ocean-based climate solutions. The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy had some reports I wanted to see, but when I visited, they’re just gone. Sad.

Red and blue on this beautiful morning. So striking in color. I hope their commonness never makes me lose the amazement they deserve.
Then my little spunky favorite shows up behind them. ❤️💙🤎

If you have a coat to donate and live or work near me, I can get it to my mom for her church’s clothing closet.

“First Methodist Church of Hueytown has a clothes closet open 4 days out of each month. We could use some CLEAN winter coats (in GOOD condition)to hand out. Especially large adult sizes.”

Elon sent out another email tonight to federal employees, urging us to resign by February 6. The memo was similar to the one received on Tuesday. As with the previous message, this latest communication fails to address concerns about pensions.
