7) lastly (for now), I learned to enjoy the journey rather than focus on how perfect the finished product can be. I discovered that when I enjoy the process, my product brings me unimaginable joy, even if it never sees the light of day. 6/6

6) I learned to stop, look at the piece, and decide that it's finished, embracing what I would normally think as flaws and rather thinking of these as the indicator that makes each piece unique. 5/6

2) Practicing every day forces me to pay attention to my surroundings, to leave the comfort of my office even if it is to step into my garden to appreciate the immediate natural environment. 3) I challenged myself to just start painting without sketching a pencil outline. 3/6

2/3 Mastering simplicity is difficult, but I'm now more comfortable in letting the water do its thing rather than drawing first, or getting too hung up on the details afterwards.
