There's something soothing about building an abstract. Though I felt I wanted to add a bit more 'llfe' if you will, with no commitment other than purely enjoying the process and let my intuition guide my hand.

When I'm nose down painting, the world turns and I don't notice. I have worked on a few exercises since last time I posted, but I'm kinda loving these postcard size abstracts made with my smallest spatula. They remind me a lot of my father's works.

Finally used these vintage fabrics from my mother in law's stash now that the sun is at that weird, 'burn your eyes' angle. The orange is a #marimekko, the blue is an even older Indonesian indigo blue #batik. I love how cozy my day job corner feels now with these half panels. #sewing
