I was outside at @crytzerfry.bsky.social watching for the Gambel's Quail flock to arrive when I was distracted by this fuzzy friend. There I went, chasing it around with a telephoto lens. It's a Magnificent Velvet Ant, which is actually not an ant, but a large female wasp.
