The thing is, people like Elmo, who inherited or were born into wealth, never had that stage of "IF I had money-". They've just always had money, so their capacity for aspiration is stunted.

I feel like we as a species need to start treating the "anti-woke" mindset as a detrimental virus, and shipping the incurably afflicted to a remote island to be quarantined, away from civilization and the internet

And while I'm on the subject, the very concept of "selling data/information" seems just so alien and obviously unethical to me.
Between that and stocks, options, futures, etc, it feels like rich people keep just making up new ways to transfer and consolidate wealth

In all seriousness, I think the hype is because of the money they're currently getting from investors and data-harvesting, not potential future profits. Think about it
