Today I replaced our kitchen faucet and installed an under-sink water filter.
Doing things I would normally have hired someone else to do and previously thought I couldn't do myself is a great feeling. I recommend it. Mercury Stardust is right: we're worth the time it takes to learn new skills. 😁
