1/ I keep returning to one core thought: civics education really matters. It’s absence, at least in part, is what makes a Donald Trump and a MAGA movement possible.

Government should never be run like a business because: the business of Business is to create profit for the few. the business of Government is to create opportunities for the many.

Trans people just want the right to exist safely as their true selves, like everyone else.

But they’ve become easy scapegoats for the GOP, who vilify them and threaten to criminalize their very existence.
