Had the pleasure of observing a colleague running teaching rounds, them debriefing afterwards. A few months back, they had done the same during my rounds. If you are in academic medicine and not doing bidirectional peer observations, highly recommend. The more senior person has as much to gain!

The United States Military Academy has just eliminated all Cadet clubs and activities for POC. Most of these have existed for decades like the Society of Black Engineers. They were there when I was a Cadet in 1987. All of the religious ones remain. This isn’t DEI. It’s white Christian Nationalism.

The kind of thing where if it weren't 2025 you would skim through, chuckle and move on. But since it's 2025 just add it to the pile of existential dread.
Now Musk has sent Booger, Broccoli Rob and Big Balls to the NOAA, in order to be sure us freeloaders stop getting all those free warnings about hurricanes and stuff.
