Ray Dalio said today that the bubble gauge has reached 80%. But bubbles don’t pop until they’re pricked. It looks like the dot-com bubble sat at 80% for years.

I don’t know that we’re necessarily about to pop… but the longer we sit here without popping, the higher the probability gets each month.

This is supposed to sound threatening? They're going to try to bring down the nonvoting delegate from the U.S. Virgin Islands? www.politico.com/news/2025/11...

Another article about the complexity of Penn Station that dances around the big answers. Amtrak needs to own reconstruction. MSG needs to move. And the regional railroads need to merge. www.nytimes.com/interactive/...

This is a nice comparison of how popular @jd-vance-1.bsky.social’s trolling-as-government actually is among real people.

Did Apple Music commit this violence to you, too?

My "time travel" app Déjà Vu 4.0 is now live for iOS 26, taking full advantage of Liquid Glass. I’m really happy with how it came out. Feel free to explore Déjà Vu, for free, from the App Store: apps.apple.com/us/app/d%C3%...

I think this is right. I think these are some of the only media organizations equipped to report on the radicalization we're seeing. So I pulled the trigger.

It's starting to look like Tyler Robinson was a very online follower of Nick Fuentes.

This is getting pretty close to the Simpsons where Homer promises garbage men doing everything in town to win an election.

Liquid Glass seems biased towards for controls living on top of visual content. I’m lucky that floating buttons is what I already had… transition decisions were pretty straightforward, if a little difficult technically. (I still might separate all four buttons again, which iOS 26 makes easy.)

Cell reception (on T-Mobile, at least) used to be less than one bar in Moynihan Train Hall, and now I’m getting 5 bars! Someone upgraded something.

My history obsession led me to build a time travel app for your iPhone. In recent episodes of The Gilded Age, Larry Russell didn't actually go to Delmonico's, but if he had, it would have been its then-current location on Madison Square Park. Time travel there by getting the app at dejavutheapp.com

Insanely, this is the top headline on Fox News right now. It says nothing. It contains no facts. It contains no news. It's just a conspiracy headline placeholder. www.foxnews.com/us/fbi-deput...

My history obsession led me to build a "time travel" app for your iPhone. This week The Gilded Age visited the Haymarket, the house of ill-repute in Manhattan's Tenderloin District in the 1880s. Travel there in the app by getting it at dejavutheapp.com

There's a mention of Epstein on FoxNews.com, but it's eight rows of stories down. And it's a story about how you shouldn't worry about the Epstein story.
