The good part about sleeping terribly for multiple nights in a row is when the make-up good night’s rest hits, it’s literally the best sleep on earth.

Apparently if you get off this app for a decently long time, the weird timeline issues straighten out.

Oh, you "heard" there was a secret chord that David played and it pleased the Lord? Cite your sources, bro. This is how misinformation spreads

Can @bsky.app confirm?
BLUE SKY WAS FOUNDED BY A TULSAN???????
Am I the only one who didn't know that Bluesky's CEO, Latian "Jay" Graber's first name actually means blue sky in mandarin?

Ok, so I stg I’ve never liked a post of any sort like this but the alg on this site keeps rolling in dudes with no shirts or they’re trying to be smooty and I am so annoyed. I keep choosing “less like this” but they keep coming back. Not my jam, Bluesky, not my jam.

If RFK Jr gets approved, all of the secret terrible ingredients that are supposedly in our food would have to be replaced with fresh and organic, I’m guessing. Which will really lower those grocery prices.

“Welp, the worms are finally coming out of the acorns! There’s one, now two!”

Me: I thought I told you to put the acorns in the backyard a week ago, why are they still in the car?

Acorns: sometimes they grow trees, sometimes they grow worms.

Finding the people you don't want to leave behind from the old place is a bit of a challenge.

Just got back from a run and there were so many people out. Walking, bicycling, running, yardwork. Love to see it!
And since it’s midday Tuesday, they weren’t doing it with kids. Just enjoying time outside without having to guard against all the things kids need guarding against.

10yo me: I wish I could have ice cream for breakfast

20yo me: It's so cool that I can have ice cream for breakfast

30yo me: only a bit of lactose free ice cream for me please.

40yo me: sorry, a spoonful of ice cream will hurt my stomach and make me gain 5 pounds.

So many people want a high follower count but the higher a follower count, the less likely I am to follow them. I make an assumption there will be less interaction. (Unless I’ve followed them for years on other sites).

I’m still here for the chit chat.

Decided to take my surprise lunch break and also surprise my son. His excitement when I brought that Braum’s kids meal into his classroom was 💯.

Woke up hungry so I ate breakfast first thing. Which means I ate my lunch at 10:15. Which means I will be buying lunch today and probably sooner rather than later because apparently what I brought for lunch would not have gone far.

Just a reminder to support your local public libraries! Write letters of support. Use the library often & in many different ways. Show up to meetings.

Library staff have been begging for help, advocacy, and action for years. Please show up for libraries.

Stayed up late to finish Cloud Cuckoo Land. Finished it in a little less than a week. Feels good to have my reading game focused again.
