I really don't think that Zohran Mamdani and Zack Polanski have any kind of special, unique charisma. They're literally just two fairly ordinary blokes who talk about actual issues, who can answer a question directly, and are clearly having a good time. There is no magic here. We could all be them.

Oh. Perhaps it’s because I follow too few people on Bluesky, but I really love the atmosphere here – everyone is discussing issues, unlike on X, where it’s full of meaningless ideological policing (within what should be a community).

Will the UK Home Secretary apply the uniform standard he used in the case of Palestine Action to designate the group behind the protesters who attacked the asylum hotel as a terrorist organization? Probably not, because this group now appears to be core voters for the Labour government.
