"Why does this indie RPG whose gameplay objectively sucks have such a massive following" well, statistically, it's because the soundtrack is amazing and it's got a fucked up little guy in it. If that's your guess you won't be right 100% of the time, but you'll be right more often than you're wrong.

If there's anything I hope young creatives take from David Lynch, it's to reject the modern IP-driven impulse to explicitly explain and cleanly categorize the logic behind every single event and decision inside and outside of a story at least some of the time.

actually when I got a new mattress and an orthopedic pillow for Christmas I really thought I will also be getting a better and longer sleep, but now I have to admit I'm still using my bed mostly to read true crime. now with a better posture.
