Beginning this Sunday we will have a week of donations to Invasive Management Area (IMA) volunteers working on public lands. Up to 25 trees and shrubs per site, and we can supply deer caging (!!) thanks to a generous grant from the Tree Protection and Planting Fund.

And part of why Parks trained for that moment was because there *had* been a (much younger) woman who had, nine months prior, spontaneously refused to move to the back of a bus: Claudette Colvin.

She was a girl, in fact, just 15 years old; after her arrest, she became pregnant.
