27 year old fella, artist, animator, developer, musician, blah blah blah also I'm making a game called KART (visit my @ in your web browser.)
Actually here's some music too, which I'm proud of. This was meant to be the BGM for the introduction and fight with an antagonist, who unexpectedly bursts in while the protagonists are going through dialog. Had to use a link here because bluesky won't let me upload it.

That definitely feels a lot like SS13, I really like the ambient radio chatter. I actually had a SS13-based spinoff sort of game I was working on too! It had more of an arcade-y feel, but had a story. Here's some old artwork from it.

On creation, you can assign a custom image to a tag, as well as hide the value or the tag entirely from the racer. I wanted to avoid having custom text on screen here, because less easy for modders to share experiences through languages barriers that way. No words = no language barrier.

Nice to see another SS13 contributor prowling around on here. The cool thing about something like that is that it's a very low ego environment; small time contributors are generally cool with stuff floating around wherever. I think it's what makes SS13 such a rich experience

Generally you just need to rub elbows a little bit in the relevant communities; looking for a project to help out on works better than trying to pitch your own idea. It's hard to convince people that your idea is better than theirs until you have enough ability to show off.

Wow, this is looking awesome! Crazy how things work, I had an idea for a game like yours for a game jam! I was only an artist back then, and my team couldn't figure out how to do it effectively so it inspired me to learn to program on my own. I had to dig it up but it was this:

Yep! And on top of that I've already made track tools that can allow you to sync anything to the beat of the music (custom music allowed too)!
