On the very first day of the year, some traditions remain as solid as a rock: the Vienna New Year's concert! As a kid, I was glued to the screen while the talented musicians & ballet dancers wowed us. After the breathtaking tutu show, a quick hop to the ski jumping event in Garmisch-Partenkirchen!

Winter cycling: You start at dawn pumping your tires with a pump older than your bike, wrestle yourself into 14 layers of ‘winter kit’, pack snacks for a polar expedition… and by the time you get home and peel it all off, the sun has already set. #tooslowforthedaylight 😂
