And to be clear: this issue is overt in about half the population, but is latently present among progressives/leftists/Democrats. The reflexive distrust on the left of a white woman in 2016 and a black woman in 2024, when men with identical policies won in 2008 and 2020, needs to be confronted.

Disturbing: A big reason Trump won was undecideds couldn't be persuaded that millions of jobs lost in 2020 and death of Roe were Trump's fault, internal Harris campaign polling showed. Biden/Ds let Trump rehabilitate himself to disastrous effect.

My friends and I keep talking about how the stuff you're going to end up doing to help, if you're serious about helping, is not going to look heroic or cool. 99.9% of the work is tiny and boring and all the main characters are gonna have to reckon with that.
