re "no friends" chess engine, I've abandoned the tty interface & have converted it into a CECP compatible engine, so now I'm using xboard as a front end

It can actually play a game now, but is still not particularly good, but did beat me one time after I made a lot of blunders, & I didn't feel good

something I've learned the hard way is some random dungeons just look awesome in a map editor / birds eye overhead view, but are really tedious to play #gamedev #roguelike

someone asked for more rabbit spawners, for u know ... the usual: taming & cooking etc. So I added some to a town, but of course I also have to add a NPC explaining that there is a tiny wormhole near the fountain where the gravity is stronger & that is where they all come from, the rabbits #gamedev

adding the spell 'sticks to snakes' ... had fun doing a rare edge case where if the enemy target is holding a staff and is large the staff is turned into a giant snake. this would probably happen once every 6 months in game but totally worth the effort #gamedev

I can barely be bothered posting anymore but you can check out my multiplayer rpg if you like. It's been going for over 21 years now, which is longer than Wow but not quite as long as runescape.
