It’s gonna be mostly Pelicans, Saints, and LSU stuff. Nola Flynt on the hellsite.
So, I assume Trump’s just gonna classify everything that mentions him or his friends, right?

No one who played last night was in the league in 2020, and half are in year 1 or 2. That was an extremely young squad being asked by their coach of 3 days to ramp up their speed and passing against the best defending team in the league. And they still only needed a quarter to figure things out.

One thing you have to give Troy Weaver: He brought in the core that's now winning in Detroit (Cade, Ausur, Jalen, Isaiah). He also drafted Bey, who's been great for the Pels so far. And if the early returns hold, he's kept up the streak with Fears & Queen. The man can evaluate college talent.

MAGA's going through 2 civil wars right now because of how many of them are pro-nazi and/or pro-pedophile.

James Borrego said in postgame that he wishes he had asked the team to begin tonight’s game with more aggression and pressure because when the Pelicans did ratchet the defense up later, it did bother the Thunder some.

We must remember it’s hurt that he hasn’t had a full practice with the team yet.
The Pelicans coaches HAVE to find a way to start halves in all-out, full-court, blitzing defense. It may not work, but it can’t be worse than these horrible starts to every 1st & 3rd.

Isn’t that a foul? Dort got all hand.

Won the 2nd quarter by 12. Now. Can you win a 3rd Quarter?

I think the entire Pelican rotation tonight might be players who came into the NBA since 2021 (unless Looney plays).

Pass Interference is still the most ridiculous penalty in football. Referees are TERRIBLE at making the call in real time, but they threw a year-long hissy fit when the league tried to make it reviewable.

Tulane still has a great shot at making the playoff. Navy beating USF was huge for their chances.

Coming into tonight’s game, Queen and Fears have been close to starting a few fights with NBA dicks like Dillon Brooks. Draymond Green is fresh off of being humiliated by Wemby. And the Pels just got their coach fired because of (in part) not showing a tough enough identity.

Prepare for ejections.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the team planned to fire Willie the same day Zion tweaked his hamstring, and then held off firing him until Zion came back. I don’t think they wanted to start the Borrego era with 5+ non-Zion games.

We should create an award for the worst example of political instincts each year. We can call it Winning the Lombardy.
Darren Lombard getting blown out would make that one ad among the worst self-inflicted gaffes I've ever seen.

willie green is not a bad coach & I wish him the best wherever he lands. his time in nola has come to an end, but he's definitely going to head coach again soon. he's done an exceptional job with development & I hope this season doesn't make people forget the positive impact he's had
I still think Willie Green’s most underrated trait was developing young draft picks into NBA Players:
Trey Murphy
Herb Jones
Jose Alvarado
Dyson Daniels
EJ Liddell
Karlo Matkovik
Jordan Hawkins
Yves Missi
Jeremiah Fears
Derik Queen
Micah Peavy

He turned everyone but EJ into NBA contributors.
