In honor of Edgar Allan Poe's 176th deathday, here are a few of my recent pieces inspired by Poe's works 🫀

A snowy egret chills adjacent black cormorants and mallards on a little island in the lake. Black cormorant suns his wings after taking a dip. No birbs. Just sunflowers against Lollipop Lake on a bright afternoon. Great blue heron strides on the shore. Mallards swim.

From today's hour long evening walk (a brief rain cooled the temps enough that I could stand to be outdoors for a while.)
Mama duck and baby swimming in a pond. No idea what sort of clouds these are but they're cool. Canadian geese, cormorant, and ducks (mallards and mottleds). The geese swim and the others chill on a little island in the pond. Close up of cormorant and ducks on the island.
