After living in Finland → US → Netherlands → Spain, I learned a thing or two about purchase protection.

So decided to build norteapp.io - a personal coverage intelligence to help you manage the coverage for your trips, rentals, and purchases.
PSA for Amex Platinum holders:

Your Q4 credits expire in 103 days:
- Resy Dining: $100
- Lululemon: $75
- Digital Entertainment: $75

Haven't enrolled yet? That's $250 going to Amex instead of you.

We just updated Norte with all Amex Platinum changes.

The math on the $200 fee increase:
❌ Old: $695 fee, ~$1,500 benefits
✅ New: $895 fee, ~$3,500 benefits

But only if you actually USE the quarterly credits.

That’s why I built Norte.

To deliver a simple way to see all the protections you already own (with their limitations and exclusions) across cards, perks & policies.

What’s worse?

You only find out after you’ve wasted money…

or when you’re denied coverage you thought you had.

The benefits exist. Not just in your CCs, but other personal policies or employee benefits that cover more than you know.

Because they buried in 80-page PDFs of fine print.

And issuers aren’t exactly motivated to remind you.

This isn’t rare.

Every year, people waste $$$ on:

– Duplicate travel insuranc
– Extended warranties they already had
– Phone protection plans they didn’t need

… or just leave money on the table for not making a claim they are entitled to.

I used to pay $100s for rental car insurance.

My credit card already covered most of it.

I just didn’t know how it worked.
