I feel like this is a step up over the last album!
There is always a deep longing for connection, companionship and love in this, that makes all of @vanessafunke.bsky.social's pieces deeply relatable.
And on top of that, she always makes everything sound so good!
Highly, highly recommended!
Time to start my musical journey for the day and there are few things better to do it with, then with a new album by @vanessafunke.bsky.social! 😁
The last one I heard from her The Occasion project was pretty nice, so I have high expectations.
Going in!
It is owned by @untidymusic.com and has shows by @superscience.xyz and @aishamcnamara.bsky.social.

I’m doing something wrong but I’m trying to find a sample of a UK home phone ringing, preferably from the 70’s-early 80’s era before it gets synthesised & more digital sounding.
I can find recent versions and US but not the‘classic’ UK “rinnng - rinnng” ones. Any ideas?

The DIY and Independent music submitted still takes priority. I see this as a way of making the station a vehicle for music discovery.

I am over-tired
Of the great harvest
I myself desired."

'After Apple-Picking'
Merely because it ceases to be true.
Cling to it long enough & no doubt
It will turn true again, for so it goes.
Most change we think we see in life
Is truths being in & out of favour."
- Robert Frost
'The Black Cottage'
They have to take you in."
