do you think they work for an R and D Senator respectively and they can normally only gaze wistfully across the aisle

my mother and my sister would likely be dead if they hadn't received this type of care; lots of women who do want kids may choose not to even risk it now.

We WILL build ourselves up, one day, one week, one month at a time and beyond.

If our only real power in a capitalistic system is the vote of our wallet; if the powers that be, therefore, will do all they possibly can to buy, barter and steal that power from us... We Won't Let Them.

One day is enough for people to discover a local store they didn't know existed, to be that $40 richer, to make that recipe at home. One day is enough to get that needed dopamine hit from being part of something BIGGER, something DELIBERATE. To remember that we are NOT helpless, and we are MANY.

And how many of you tried to return to the gym this Jan? You can't get back to your old peak on day 1. You have to work back up to it. "Use it or lose it" applies to mental muscles too. For one day, having to ask yourself "what do I do instead" can be all it takes to realize: you CAN live without it

SO. Finally, we come to the point of all this: the boycott, is *not* in fact about bankrupting stores.

It's about BREAKING OUR HABITS and LEARNING TO MAKE CHOICES AGAIN.

Anyone who's ever battled an addiction knows that going cold turkey usually fails; thus, this *first* boycott was 1 day.

Every. Single. Giant corporation has learned this one neat trick: you can make anyone swallow shit so long as it goes down easy. Doordash that burger. Pickup that burnt coffee frappe. Ooh, Temu junk. Just one more quick hit of dopamine. Just a little treat. Real life sucks, I deserve a little treat

If you assume that everything, everywhere, is shit now, (and I can see why many do) then why not stick to the shit you're familiar with? Why bother looking for new entertainment when the algorithm can do it for you? Why seek out media that makes you think when it only needs to fill blank space?
