Today is day 212 of North Carolina Republican's complete and utter failure to do their most basic constitutional duty - passing a state budget. #ncpol
Mini-budgets and extensions of the 2024 budget aren’t working for North Carolina. This outdated approach fails our communities. #NCGA — we need a state budget that supports our well-being now. #LoveNCFundNC

NC college students are suing the State Board of Elections. Why? Because Republicans seized control of the board, stacked it with partisan hacks, pointlessly stripped voting from campuses and NOW we'll waste more taxpayer $$$ defending this bullshit. #ncpol

Wake Co. school enrollment barely changed over a decade (+~2.5%) but county funding more than doubled (+~108%). Why? Because the state keeps shifting costs onto counties. Now, Republicans want to cap property taxes, which will make everything worse. #ncpol

If government officials want trust, their actions and words have to match the reality we all can clearly see on the ground.

James Baldwin (referencing an Ike Turner song) said it best: I can’t believe what you say, because I see what you do.
