I rarely love a player as much as I love Omar Bugiel. He was reputedly surplus to requirements at the end of last season, but opted to stay and fight. Whether that was psychology from the manager or just a straightforward decision, it seems to have been really good for him. #afcw

I have no idea what we would do if we were promoted to the Championship** but it would be fun to find out.

Come on! That was a great goal. Bugiel is at his menacing best today. Got to win this, Wycombe don’t look like they have much to worry us, just need to keep the tempo up.

Surprised Bradford won so comfortably at Cardiff today from what I saw of both teams against is but bodes well that we matched them (although deserved to lose due to our own mistakes).

Franchise seemed to be consensus pick for League 2 title (again) and are in bottom half (again 😂). My fiver each way on Swindon and Gillingham at start of season is looking pretty good.

Couple more away wins like that this season and we’ll be fine. League 1 is so much more fun than league 2.

Gutted to lose after a much better second half. Once they started to tire we were right in the game but didn’t take any chances and then a clearance just dropped at their feet and he slotted it in the corner. More encouraging stuff and the best Tuesday night atmosphere I’ve seen at PL.

We’ll do well to get a point, Cardiff the best team at plough lane in a long time. Wide players are dangerous and 10 Colwill is too good for this league. We’ve kept our shape well but been poor on the ball. I’d bring Omar to try to hold it up and relieve the pressure, Orsi hasn’t had a sniff.

Striking the ball competently in order to achieve speed that’s sufficient for any professional keeper not to find it easy to stop, without generating lift, which makes the ball easier to stop, is very hard
