I'm not overly familiar with boxed "escape room" type gamed, but can anyone suggest a good one for a group of 15 year olds to play together at a party? Something not too difficult but not obviously "for kids" either which has components suitable for a group to pore over

That's a good point. One odd modern thing is public schools have become the locus for a huge amount of services that used to be provided by others, e.g. psych counseling, food.
