Agreed but that’s not all. In cities like Detroit, I have witnessed several small developer friends & colleagues transform their communities in ways that are ethical, expeditious & mutually beneficial. The powerful impact of small developers is underrated & under researched.
Small developers are small businesses.
They’re just as vital to the future of our communities as other small businesses like bakeries, cafes, restaurants and grocers.
We need to treat them that way.

Mars seems more red herring than a red planet - why expend resources planning to live in an inhospitable climate whilst concurrently making our hospitable climate less so? It's a silly luxury: I'd rather we work out how we'll live with higher temps and climate-change-fueled catastrophic events.
