Carney’s deal with Danielle Smith is the sellout of the century: scrapping climate legislation for a pipeline that will never be built.

We need powerlines, not pipelines. Our path is through climate leadership & building good jobs in the clean economy.

Unpopular opinion: I love the DST. This weekend with an extra hour was like a mini holiday. I look forward to the extra hour of light every spring.

80 years ago today, atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima & Nagasaki. Hundreds of thousands of people died. Millions were impacted.

This anniversary must be more than remembrance. It must be a wake-up call. We need global nuclear disarmament.

This must never happen again. Not anywhere, not ever.

Opinion: Northern pipeline the wrong nation-building plan
Canada and Manitoba must invest in renewable energy and infrastructure to help all Canadians and not greenwash fossil fuel expansion projects as responsible economic development.

When you think about it, it is quite incredible that tens of millions of North Americans are all inescapably breathing in smoke from the same fires in the Prairies. It shows how small and interconnected our world is, how we share the same fate. It’s kind of like the solar eclipse… but bad😭

Canada tabled sweeping legislation today to increase border security, incl powers to cancel or suspend immigration docs immediately, and huge crack downs on asylum applications

While Canadians can feel smug about their nationalism in this tarriff-trade war, it's a pretext for anti-migrant control.

CRA penalties on RRSPs and TFSA are punitive attacks on the middle class. But when the system breaks down, CRA tells people, just fill out a "RC343 Worksheet to estimate their TFSA contribution room for the year". Who has time for that? www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...
TFSA contribution limit info has been unavailable since mid-April, CRA confirms | CBC News
For more than a month, Canadians looking for their remaining contribution room in their tax-free savings accounts (TFSA) on the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) website have been out of luck.

Our democracy would be improved if the King of Canada were a one year term student volunteer position. The main duties like reading a throne speech or officiating a street hockey game would be impressive achievements for a 19 year old. It would look great on some kid's resume.

Chinese EVs will not stay out of North America forever, and Canada should invite them in to build cars here so we don’t lose that opportunity to the US or Mexico.
