“That is why Trumpists are so focused on “ending DEI” in the federal workforce. They see anti-discrimination and inclusion as a ladder of upward mobility for people they do not believe should have one.”
The Great Resegregation
The Trump administration’s attacks on DEI are aimed at reversing the civil-rights movement.

Sometimes capitalism gets it right…when it suits the accumulation of more capital. When renewals trump consumables, that’s a great day.
Global investments in clean energy are nearing $2 trillion annually, nearly double the spending on new fossil fuel projects, according to the International Energy Agency (IEA).

“This capital flow underscores an irreversible shift towards sustainable energy solutions,”

Welcome to democracy, the will of people to vote also with their bodies about what kind of world they wish to inhabit. Birth rates are plummeting in Russia, China, and so many other autocracies.

“Demography is destiny.” Remember that.
hungarys family policies are the plans elon musk consistently touts as the solution to raise the birth rate by the way lmfao

Trump must know. His veil of authority is the only power behind Musk’s madness. Musk promised Trump $2 trillion in savings as the only way for Trump to buy off GOP “moderates” who will not otherwise support new tax cuts. This is do or die for Trump…and American democracy depends on the latter.
He has no idea what Elon is doing. He let loose Elon to go wild.
REPORTER: Why is it important for Elon Musk to have access to the payments systems at Treasury?

TRUMP: Well, he's got access only to letting people go that he thinks are no good, and it's only if we agree with him

Only AOC sounds at all human. The other three are examples of why Trump's people say he 'doesn't sound like a politician' and 'he tells it like it is'. Careful, measured syllables that commit to nothing and that can be quickly retracted if there's blowback. Honest to God most Democrats are ass.

This is why we are where we are. Democrats tried to treat the last election as if it were normal. Some of us saw Project 2025 as the war plan it is. A war on Democracy with daily direct, terroristic attacks on the structure of our Government and the Constitution itself. It was not normal.
