My fursona, a vaguely mammalian creature with thick fur, horns, and two tails, sits at a kitchen counter. Some decor sits at the far end of the counter against the wall next to an espresso machine. Two cabinets loom above the espresso machine. Above my head is a faded thought bubble that says “I miss my shrimp” A block of red text slowly fades in from the angled counter, reading “I think your mind is gonna change about kids when you’re older, remember what I said about friends? Friends will come and go, but FAMILY is forever. Family will never leave you. I know you think you know everything but I think your mind will change about kids. I (my fursona)’s thought bubble pops, and I stare at my mother (the POV) with a very shocked and nervous expression. I can only say “UHHH.” My text is teal and my speech bubble is the cabinets themselves. A far more realistic looking persona of my mother; she resembles a sable, a type of mustelid. She has a blank expression on her face and a speech bubble with three red dots indicates her silence. My teal “UHHHHHHHHHH” trails above her in an unsteady line. A teretosi excitedly picks up a pika bun and prepares to slice it open. A large block of text sits beside the sketch "A dish popular among teretosi is the Poor Man's Marmot, otherwise known as the pika bun, a baked good with heavily spiced meat stuffing shaped to resemble a rodent. The Poor Man's Marmot is traditionally sliced open with a dewclaw, with only the stuffing consumed and bread discarded. However, during times of famine, teretosi would often resort to consumption of the entire pika bun, leading to increased bread quality and decreased meat quantity. In present day, discourse on the correct way to consume a pika bun is still abundant, especially in interspecies spaces." Underneath the text is a doodle of an extremely disappointed teretosi with a cut-open pika bun and fruit gunk on their claw. A phyoren beside them is oblivious to their disappointment and says "Oh yeah, since there's so many wyrir here I decided to replace the meat with a fruit compote, pretty inventive, am I right?"
