I’m at a bit of a crossroads with social media - even BluesSky, which is, for the time being, comparatively pure. I feel a pressure to lean into a single piece of myself to consistently foster engagement, but it’s not fulfilling. It’s time to just be me. If people like that, great. If not 🤷♂️

I’m checking corners like a damn navy seal and those mannequins still sneak up and scare the shit out of me.
I know the Silent Hill 2 remake is good because the happiest moments I have playing the game is when a door doesn’t open so I don’t need to worry

I’ve only played an hour of the Silent Hill 2 Remake, but I’m really enjoying it. I like that it plays with the my expectations, showing me things that are very familiar and then doing something different. The enemies feel threatening, too. #horrorgame #horror 🧵

Silent Hill 2 is one of my favorite games. Playing it was a core experience of my teenage years, proving games could tackle mature subject matter.
The remake unlocks tonight at 11pm, but I’ll be waiting until tomorrow to play—getting up before sunrise to enjoy it in at least an hour of darkness.
