Irony of seeing the VTA drivers striking complain about being on strike & how it's hurting them, you literally voted for the strike. Also them complain they're sole provider for their family... dude. I wish I could survive on one income. Oh & complaining you can "only" save $1-2k a month sickens me.

VTA strike will head into it's 3rd day disrupting the lives of 100k+ ppl. Ppl are unable to get to work & students are missing their midterms. The Union wants a 19.3% wage increase & upping of their already high tier insurance & dental plan. I'm all for increases, but this one is just greedy.

Bus drivers strike here in all swing. Two picketers who were in the main road trying to stop a VTA vehicle for a part of the VTA not on strike were "hit". There is video of it. The picketers are claiming they swerved to hit them. Video shows otherwise. This strike is poorly done and greedy.

Well, it happened. Looks like I get little sleep for the foreseeable future because the local transit decided to strike. Partner relies on the bus to get to work. Now I get to take them and bring them home. Doesn't sound bad, but it severely cuts into my sleep schedule.

Partner has discovered they like pirate's grog. So it has become an easy drink to make. Got a pitcher of grog made and they are happy now.

Local bus drivers union is going on strike due to "low wages" they're upset that their 6mo start out wage is "only $26.50" & jumps to $32.50 after with $39.50 after yr or so of service. They're trying to get their passengers to feel sorry for them & it isn't happening. Most them make about $20 tops.
