Tried out a new app, Too Good to Go. It takes food from localrestruants that are left at end of the night & sells them at reduced prices. This is from a high-end white tablecloth Brazilian Steakhouse near me. $29 worth of food for $10. Was a delicious assortment. Definitely worth it. So good!

Made a nice dinner, hard core fresh local only ingredients. Was delicious. Still got dessert coming soon.

Final results of my crostini & vegetable barley soup. Finally, after the delicious smells wafting through the den for hours, I got to enjoy hot fresh soup on a cold, rainy night. Been years since I made it & it was as worth the wait time to make as I remember. Now I've plenty of soup for a few days.

Final results of my crostini & vegetable barley soup. Finally, after the delicious smells wafting through the den for hours, I got to enjoy hot fresh soup on a cold, rainy night. Been years since I made it & it was as worth the wait time to make as I remember. Now I've plenty of soup for a few days.
The ingredients for my vegetable broth for my soup tomorrow. It has been simmering for a little while now and it smells really good. Haven't made my soup in years. Making it from memory. Let's hope I remeber it all. Broth almost complete.
