As the final ballots are counted for #BattleRiverCrowfoot, I want to take the time to thank those who participated, from the candidates to the voters. 50% turnout is amazing for a byelection!

Also a big thank you to the 1 voter who took the time to write my name down! It means a lot to me! ❤️ [1/2]

Just a reminder the #BattleRiverCrowfoot #byelection is tomorrow (Monday)! No excuse to not vote - every #vote matters!

And if you're looking for a guy who will fight for responsible AI, that's me! Here's a look at Grok who apparently has the first dibs at counting votes:

Job action in recent years by bus drivers, pilots, flight attendants, maintenance workers, etc. consistently show how vital transportation services are for Canadians.

A non-essential service functioning like an essential service is a sign of a lack of competition. We need more options for travel.

Disappointing to hear about this kind of behaviour happening at polling stations. I hope the booklet of candidate names is also checked for tampering after every vote.

American politicians and big tech want freer access and control over Canadians.

Let’s not make any more concessions. Keep tightening the screws since our digital sovereignty is just as important as our physical world.

Playing defense is needed here. Add barriers so not just anything can be an ad, especially online.

I was told growing up by my teachers NOT to cite Wikipedia for my own research. ChatGPT cites Wikipedia. It's a real-world telephone game.

AI is a useful tool to have, but education on how to use it the right way (and not to mistaken it as truth) is equally important.

Public transportation is one of the best investments that can be made, anywhere in the world.

Connecting communities creates opportunities, which is why I think a reliable and frequent high speed rail connection from Edmonton to Calgary (and perhaps to Winnipeg) just makes sense.

The 2025 World Press Freedom Index is out. The top 10 countries all use proportional representation.

Canada ranks 21st. Over 80% of our media is owned by 5 corporations. We've lost 252 local outlets since 2008.

If we want real media diversity and accountability, we need PR.

Trump is not serious about any kind of trade deal with Canada. Intermediate concessions are not progress when the goalpost is moving.

Canada should walk away from the table. We’re better off using our time talking with serious partners that actually want to make deals that work.

Calling the long ballot a scam is ironic. The real scam is having an MP bail on his constituents days after being elected and wasting millions of taxpayers dollars to hold this unnecessary byelection.
