Disappointing to hear about this kind of behaviour happening at polling stations. I hope the booklet of candidate names is also checked for tampering after every vote.

Hello, Battle River-Crowfoot! Here's a little bit about myself, why I'm running, and what I stand for:
Who I am: - A second-generation Canadian - Graduated from the University of British Columbia with the degree of Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering in 2020 - Currently a software developer working in the artificial intelligence domain Why I decided to run: 1. The rapid development of AI has been felt everywhere. Today, we have a ministry focused on AI - but a science/innovation-based ministry should be led by a person with a scientific background 2. Parliament needs a more diverse representation from different industries - Canada has many skilled tech workers and scientists but it is underrepresented 3. I am a results-oriented person and have been frustrated with all the political theatre in Ottawa in recent years - with too little results to show for it What I stand for: 1. Supporting policies that will help Canada be a strong technological innovator, especially where it can help grow our irreplaceable industries like agriculture 2. Supporting projects that better protect communities from extreme weather/climate events such as wildfires and drought 3. Protecting Canadians online through the regulation of AI-generated content that is delivered to Canadians, particularly through social media and advertising 4. Improving healthcare access because Canadians should not have to wait for an unacceptable length of time to see a doctor, only to have to wait even longer for a specialist referral 5. Reforming the temporary foreign worker program so Canadian youth can have a fair opportunity to gain valuable work experience 6.
