Thanks. They replied to my email, but it was a deeply disappointing response: they said using the name was not a political statement. Thing is, the nickname itself is a political statement, so using it is therefore also political. What if they had used his name for former Secretary Clinton? #NotOK

Hey @ncstate.bsky.social I'm deeply disappointed — disillusioned, even — that you haven't even acknowledged my message, let alone addressed my concern. I spent five years with you (BS '74, MS '75), and have donated regularly to the alumni fund. I honestly thought you were better than this. 😢

The borders are not out of effing control! Removing 111 skilled worker categories doesn't do a blessed thing to "control" them. If the Home Office think it does, they need to learn a thing or two about what "control" means. 🤬🤬🤬
