I've been making coffee in a moka for 35 years, and it was only last week that I realised I could immediately hit the sweet spot in screwing the top onto the bottom, just by aligning the handle with the valve. No faffing.

Last year I wrote GSA about the removal of their Inclusive Design Patterns. Today they replied. Said it was mandated by the EO on "Ending Radical and Wasteful…DEI Programs and Preferencing". I said it was IN NO WAY radical or wasteful, and called the EO a travesty. www.linkedin.com/posts/elizab...

One thing I like very much about MacOS Tahoe is that the Dock comes up so quickly when I move the pointer to the bottom of the screen.

Dear Apple, so far I am not a huge fan of Liquid Glass. And I definitely don't want Apple Intelligence intruding into more aspects of my life. The MS Copilot thing is travesty enough.

Survey asked why I hadn't used Airbnb lately. I said: "Joe Gebbia supports DOGE and Project 2025. I won't use Airbnb again as long as he is there. The Government already had a brilliant design team at 18F and did NOT need to replace it with someone who cares nothing for usability or accessibility."

#PremierInn have changed their mattresses sometime in the last couple of years. The new ones are nowhere near as comfortable as the Hypnos ones they used to use. 😢
