I feel like this encapsulates the flaw in Alien: Romulus - a great sci-fi movie doesn't feel the need to explain what a "heat signature" is. It assumes the audience knows or is intelligent enough to figure it out.

Haven't finished it yet, so I don't have a final opinion tho
